What Do You Do at a Chocolate Factory?

A chocolate factory is an interactive, candy-themed experience where guests can see actors, beautiful props and immersive rooms. It’s also a great place to visit with the whole family.

The basic process of making chocolate starts with cocoa beans – a black berry that grows only in the tropical mountains of South America. These beans are harvested and roasted before being ground into liquid chocolate.

Once the chocolate is made, it’s packaged in a wide variety of shapes and sizes. It can be sold in traditional boxes, decorative tins and bags for gift giving, holiday time or special occasions.

At your factory, you have a series of conveyor tiles that carry raw input into the production area. These include Beans (black), Cocoa pieces (brown squares), Bars moulded into Chunks or Fingers, and Wrapped chocolates containing Caramel and Nuts.

Each Conveyor tile has a different function, based on the icon displayed above it. Some functions require you to operate on a single chocolate piece, while others may allow you to process more than one at a time.

During your factory’s production, you may use a number of actions to upgrade any 1 chocolate on a conveyor tile above or below it. These upgrades may happen more than once during a Shift.
